In Episode 8 of Finding the Front we are very privileged to have on the show the Managing Director and CEO of Pilbara Minerals, Mr Ken Brinsden. Ken joined Pilbara Minerals, stock code PLS, in 2016 as CEO when the company was a start-uplithium explorer. 

Last week after some 7 years at the company, which is now grown to be a leading ASX 100 battery raw materials company, he made a difficult decision and announced his intention to step down from the Managing Director and CEO role by theend of 2022.

We talk to Ken about how he earnt his stripes working for some mining’s household names over his stellar 25 plus year career before he joined Pilbara Minerals.  In this fantastic conversation, Ken delivers some fascinating insights into his upbringing, being an underground mining specialist, his time as an integral part of Atlas Iron and the opportunity to lead and build Pilbara Minerals into one of the world’s leading lithium raw materials suppliers with an exciting portfolio of growth options as the demand for battery raw materials increases.
